Dear Diary,
A lot of us have been thinking of taking chances, and how much of it relies on facing and overcoming your fears. The truth is, every time you take a risk in your life, whether how big or how negligible, no matter how it ends up, you’ll always be glad you took it.
♥ 21 Notes / Thu May 24th, 2012 ≡ reblogEarlier, while drinking my morning coffee, I got myself into thinking how our lives resemble our taste buds. You soak it in something bitter way too much, and eventually, it’ll affect how everything tastes. Just the same if you fill your life with cynicism and insecurity will ultimately numb you of every other feeling there is. Maybe that is why I never got the hang of receiving compliments. I invite negativity too much. In turn, the sweet giddy feeling of compliments never really sank deep.
However, don’t think shying away from the taste of bitterness will do you any good. Because consuming everything but the unpleasant will only make you uneasy when the biting taste of the unsweetened comes along. Everything should be in equilibrium. Yin and Yang. They say without pain, how could we know joy. Keep in mind that a balance palate is key.
